Where this dua comes from

In the Qur'an this is the prayer of those who ask Allah for the good of both lives. Anas reported that it was the dua the Prophet ﷺ made most often (Sahih al-Bukhari 6389), and 'Abdullah ibn as-Sa'ib heard him say it between the two corners of the Ka'bah (Sunan Abi Dawud 1892).
